Ash Creek Outfitters hunting areas offer diverse terrain including, rough canyons, rolling plains, choppy pasture, forest, upland crops, and creek and river bottoms filled with alfalfa, corn, winter wheat, oats, clover and other wildlife food plots. These live water bottoms are connected to rough canyons and draws that lead to meadows and pastureland that produce optimal habitat for game species. The topography, combined with wildlife friendly food plots, has created a haven for a multitude of whitetail deer, mule deer, pronghorn, turkey, pheasant, grouse, ducks, coyotes and other various species.

Ash Creek Outfitters' clients don't hunt over feeders and they harvest wild whitetail deer. Their whitetail deer herds are wild and aren't contained behind any type of fencing. Ash Creek Outfitters manages their whitetail deer herds by planting food plots, providing supplements, implementing point limitations year after year, and harvesting mature whitetail does. Their whitetail deer bucks annually score in the 120 to 160 B&C range with some scoring larger. Rifle success rates are in the range of 90% to 100%
Ash Creek Outfitters' ranches have repeatedly produced mule deer trophies that have measured between 22" to 28" and some have been larger. Rifle success rates should be in the range of 85% to 100%. It is tough to find a quality mule deer hunt today and Ash Creek Outfitters is proud to produce trophy mule deer. It is not uncommon to see 5-10 trophy quality mule deer bucks in one day of hunting.
Being located in the breadbasket of America allows us to have the best pheasant and grouse hunting in the United States. Ash Creek Outfitters pheasant and grouse hunts are generally low impact hunts over stubble fields, hay fields, wetlands, pastures and CRP acres. Their guides hunt with trained dogs, which offers our clients excellent wing shooting.
Ash Creek Outfitters has thriving and abundant populations of wild turkeys. Fall hunts will use the spot and stalk method while the spring hunts will use the same method with the addition of decoys and calling. They winter 400-700 turkeys annually on their ranches combined so there is a pipeline of long beards at Ash Creek Outfitters.
Ash Creek Outfitters is home to ducks, geese, swans and other various shore birds year round. They are a continuous hatching and brood rearing ground year after year and it is critical that Ash Creek Outfitters doesn't graze the meadows until hatching season is over. This assures that they continually have resident populations of ducks and geese that replenish themselves annually if managed correctly.
