Ole's Prairie Ridge in Paxton, NE

Ole's Prairie Ridge in Paxton, Nebraska, is a first-class hunting outfitter—offering high-quality hunts for trophy whitetail deer and mule deer—as well as upland bird and waterfowl hunting including pheasant, turkey, duck, goose, quail, dove and hunts for other species as well. At Prairie Ridge, we will hunt pheasants in waist-high standing grass cover near those food sources of corn, sunflowers, milo, etc. We hunt over flushing dogs as well as some pointers. We prefer to limit the number of hunters per guide to three or four. Depending on the hunter's preference and local weather conditions, the tracts of ground we hunt range from 600 acres to small draws and valleys of seven acres or less. The limit is three (3) roosters. On a good day with lots of hustle we should get our limit. A lot depends on the size of the group, weather and, of course, how well you shoot! As your guides, we will not normally carry a gun unless you want us to.
