NATIONAL WILD TURKEY FEDERATION CHAPTER BANQUET JUNE 20

Flint Hills Gobblers Chapter to hold 14th annual fundraiser in Emporia

The Flint Hills Gobblers Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) will conduct its 14th Annual Hunting Heritage and Superfund Banquet/Auction on Saturday, June 20, at the American Legion Post No. 5, 2921 W. 12th Ave. in Emporia. This annual fundraiser supports the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks youth “Pass it On” events, as well as habitat improvement programs across the state. Special interactive educational opportunities for women, college scholarships for students, and hunter education programs also benefit from proceeds raised at this event.

Social Hour starts at 5:30 p.m. followed by a turkey dinner at 7 p.m. A live auction starts at 8 p.m. The public is invited to join the local chapter for a fun evening in support of America’s wild turkey and the preservation of the hunting heritage. A singles ticket is $40, and a couple’s ticket is $50. All tickets include a regular membership and meal. Chapter Sponsorship tickets, loaded with incentives, are available for $150.
