October is "Pheasants Forever Month" at Bass Pro Shops Nationwide
Participating Shoppers Eligible to Win Dream South Dakota Pheasant Hunt
Saint Paul, Minn. - September 24, 2008 - Pheasants Forever (PF) and Bass Pro Shops are partnering this October to celebrate the arrival of fall and raise awareness for the need to conserve wildlife habitat. "Pheasants Forever Month" at Bass Pro Shops nationwide will feature in-store promotions that will allow customers to participate in a sweepstakes for a dream South Dakota pheasant hunt and other valuable prizes.
During October, customers will have the opportunity to donate $2 to Pheasants Forever at any Bass Pro Shops location or online at www.BassPro.com and automatically be entered in a sweepstakes to win a grand-prize pheasant hunt at Oak Tree Lodge in Clark, South Dakota. Additional prizes include a $1,000 shopping spree at a Bass Pro Shop and a $500 Bass Pro Shop shopping spree. One-hundred percent of donations go directly to Pheasants Forever's conservation efforts.
Bass Pro Shops is a national corporate sponsor of Pheasants Forever, the Saint Paul, Minnesota-based conservation organization that has protected or enhanced more than 5 million acres of wildlife habitat across North America since 1982.

Local Pheasants Forever chapter representatives will be on hand at Bass Pro Shops locations during the month hosting membership drives, giving away entry tickets for the prize drawing, taking part in promotional food sales and hosting various educational exhibits and seminars covering a wide variety of outdoor related topics.
