Watch Pheasants Forever Television on Outdoor Channel, American's Leader in Outdoor TV

Saint Paul, Minn. - August 12, 2008 - By the time December rolls around in South Dakota, roosters are hard to come by, as you'll see on this week's episode of Pheasants Forever Television, airing on Outdoor Channel on Thursday, Aug. 14th at 10PM CDT / 11PM EDT. The episode will also air on Friday, Aug. 15th at 10AM CDT / 11AM EDT and again on Saturday, Aug. 16th at 5:30PM CDT / 6:30PM EDT.

It's a beautiful day at Cody Warne's ranch and its 2,000 acres managed for pheasants. But as hunting buddies Jay Epping and Mark Halderman find, December roosters are smarter roosters and there are no easy birds to be had.

Next, Pheasants Forever Television meets feather artist Lynda Wood of Frederick, Wisconsin. Wood is a unique talent, painting a variety of wildlife on a variety of real bird feathers. You'll have to see it to believe it!

Finally, Pheasants Forever Television joins woodcock camp in Minnesota. The Man Afield, Bill Sherck, hunts with Randy Havel founder of Woodcock Minnesota, a non-profit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to funding specific research that benefits the American woodcock in the state. You'll find out how the organization is banding young woodcock to learn about the bird's patterns.

Every episode of Pheasants Forever Television contains informative tip segments including Shotgun Savvy sponsored by Browning, Habitat Habit brought to you by Pheasants Forever and Gun Dog Savvy sponsored by Purina.
