Prairie Pothole Lodge is a family run premiere hunting destination located in the heart of the Prairie Pothole Region. We are located 14 miles Southwest of Oakes, a small friendly town of a couple thousand people in beautiful Southeastern North Dakota. To our many friends, we welcome you back. To our new guests, we invite you to join us in the Prairie to experience our wonderful views of the surrounding prairie, clear sky, and breathtaking sunsets. Prairie Pothole Lodge combines rustic charm and a casual atmosphere to form the perfect hunting retreat. Prairie Pothole Lodge offers three modern cabins with full housekeeping and private bath. The main lodge boasts a stone fireplace, TV with satellite service, conversation area, dining room, and an addition with 8 person hot tub for our guided hunting guests. Upland Game Hunting: Bird hunting in fields in CRP, along with managed row crop and stubble fields for Pheasant, Grouse, Hungarian Partridge, and Dove.
