Brazos River Outfitters, located in the heart of norhern New Mexico's high country, is a family owned and operated private holding. The area is home to one of the largest populations of free roaming elk, along with trophy mule deer, bear, lion and grouse. Specializing in both national forests and private land, we offer quality big game hunts.
Because we want to provide each hunter with a memorable experience, we ask that you come physically prepared to hunt. Our percentage of success reflects the efforts of each individual hunter.
Remember, we are located in the secluded raw wilderness of New Mexico. Electricity and phone service may be unavailable in certain parts. Please make arrangements with your work and family ahead of time, so that no inconveniences are caused later in your stay. Many of our hunters come to the area early to shop and site see. They always have a great time and find that they acclimate to the higher elevations of 10,000 feet above sea level quite well before their hunt.
In addition, Brazos river Outfitters also offers some of the best trout fishing.
