Upland bird season opens on the first of September each year. We offer combination hunts for Hungarian Partridge, Sharptail Grouse, Mountain Grouse (including both blue and ruffled), and Sage Grouse. The opening of pheasant season is the second Saturday of October. Montana offers a unique pheasant hunting experience, combining both challenging hunter/dog work with scenery "second to none". this hunt finds us chasing up and down the river and creek bottoms where abundant feed holds the birds in thick cover. We will typically combine Hun and Sharptail hunting while chasing after the magnificent pheasant. Montana hospitality and hand-hewn log lodge provide our hunter with top-notch accommodations. Fresh linens, hot showers, and three first-rate meals are provided. Meals are served family-style and will include Montana raised beef, chicken, or pork, with homemade desserts as a finale to each meal.
