Your Traxler’s Hunting Preserve Hosts, along with our staff, want your experience at Traxler’s to be fun, enjoyable and relaxing. Our Preserve is your own private hunting area; a place to get away with family and friends, or alone. There are always birds to shoot so you never go home empty-handed. Traxler's Hunting Preserve provides great training for your dog and exercise for you. The geography of our land is one of the great things about our preserve. There are 850 acres of rolling hills, woods, lakes and sloughs. Natural grasses and brush provide the perfect habitat for your hunt; the perfect place to get away for a few hours or a day. Your hunt can be long or short - easy or challenging, the decision is yours. Our preserve is set back from the main road for peace and quiet while hunting. Our season runs from mid August through April 15th, 6 days a week; closed on Tuesday. Sporting Clay's, available by reservation.
