Groups of no more than three to four hunters are recommended. Hunters should bring their own gun and ammunition. Dogs can be provided for anyone not bringing their own. Each hunter must have an Indiana Hunting License with an upland bird sticker. All hunters must wear hunter orange hunting clothes. Registration is required for all groups.

Cane Creek Hunting Preserve offers the opportunity to hunt pheasant, quail, and chuckers from October to March. Birds can be cleaned on-site for a nominal fee.
