Sprawling across tens of thousands of acres of Colorado's most breathtaking countryside, the The High Lonesome lodge is a Mecca for those who are inspired by mountain grandeur and awed by its majesty. Thousands of private hunter friendly acres of varied terrain are yours to enjoy when you bird hunt at the High Lonesome Lodge. The Pheasant and upland bird hunting season here at the High Lonesome Lodge begins in early September and continues all the way through until the following April. When Pheasant hunting at The High Lonesome Lodge you will encounter a great variety of productive terrain, everything from Harvested Crop fields, Grasslands, and Brushy ravines to tall Cotton Wood coverts in the creek bottoms. As a state licensed wildlife park, a Colorado hunting license is not required to hunt Pheasant Here, each guest may shoot 6 birds daily (additional birds may be taken for a small fee). The High Lonesome Lodge is located on the Western Slope of the Rocky Mountains.
