Nestled at the foot of the California Coast Range, Turk Station is located on a century-old working ranch, and is an upland bird hunter's dream. Top notch hunting guides, pointing dogs, and most importantly explosive birds make for an unforgettable experience. To insure the finest quality pointing dogs, we have a full time professional dog trainer on staff. Our kennel is made up of English Setters, German Shorthair and German Wirehair Pointers. These dogs are a fine match for the wily birds you will encounter in your hunting experience at Turk Station. We are particularly proud of our habitat. Our property offers 1,000 acres of diverse hunting opportunities and has been planted with a seed blend developed at Turk Station. This seed blend provides birds with specific cover and food sources. We also have miles of river bottom which contain native scrub brush and grasses, as well as cottonwoods and willows. In addition, Turk Station has begun a native plant re-introduction program to improve existing habitat. For our hard-core Chukar hunters, we offer steep, rocky slopes and sage brush. All habitat is designed around guzzlers and year-round water sources. These diverse hunting conditions offer upland bird hunters the opportunity to enjoy memorable hunting experiences.
