Rooster Ranch is a licensed upland game bird club located in the confluences of the Merced and San Joaquin Rivers in the western portion of Merced county. It is situated within the native riparian and wetland habitats of these two great rivers. It operates on approximately 3,000 acres of prime upland game bird and waterfowl habitat in Merced and Stanislaus Counties. We at Rooster Ranch offer a wide variety of hunt area. All areas are assigned to hunters or groups based on number of birds released. There are areas for any type dog used; river bottom, hayfields, riparian areas & thick cover. Birds are released based on each hunters needs, providing a wild experience or to train the young dog.
