Coues Deer
The Coues deer is a subspecies of the white-tailed deer. Coues deer are most common in Arizona's southeastern mountains, but can be found on the edge of the Mogollon Rim and into the White Mountains. They are most abundant in areas of predictable summer precipitation.
Mule Deer
We offer hunts for Desert and Rocky Mountain Mule Deer. We hunt our Desert Mule Deer in the rolling hills of Southern Arizona. On this hunt we concentrate on looking for secluded bucks, which will be found hiding out in highly vegetated mesquite drainages. On our Rocky Mountain M.D. hunts we hunt from Central AZ to the Northern Plateaus of Kiabab. Hunting techniques vary on these hunts from glassing from high vantage points to still hunting or tracking. Rifle and muzzleloader tags are available by drawing only. Archery tags are available over the counter.
Elk
Arizona offers some of the best elk hunting in the world, there are more big bulls taken here annually than anywhere else out West. In the units we prefer to guide in, bulls range from 300” – 350”. For those who are willing and able to hunt hard, hold out and hike into remote country your chances of harvesting a 350” to 380” class animal are increased.
Antelope
We offer a 4-day fully outfitted hunt for $2,200.00. Pronghorn are found throughout the state, but the bulk of these animals are located in the Northern portion of the state. Our most productive method of hunting on these hunts is "spot and stalk". On these hunts we spend a great deal of time glassing trying to locate the buck of your choice. The key to harvesting a quality buck on these hunts is pre-season scouting in addition to being able to accurately field judge bucks.
Black Bear
This is a 4-Day (1x1) fully guided and outfitted hunt. The Cost is $2,400.00, additional days are $350.00.
Quail Hunting
The outlook for the 2006/2007 season is excellent, especially for Gambel's. Southern Arizona has received a much anticipated amount of rain fall which is critical for quail development as well as the habitat growth. Arizona is home to 3 species of quail: Gambel's, Mearns' and Scaled. The Most common is the Gambel's quail, which is found throughout Southern Arizona . The Scaled quail are located in the southeast part of the state. The Mearn's quail is unique to the southern part of the state at elevations above 4.000 feet. If you are looking for a quality hunt with top notch dog's give us a call.
