About Foremost Outdoor TV Minimize

Foremost Outdoor Television promotes legal, ethical, and safe hunting and fishing practices. At it’s roots, the purpose of hunting and fishing is to collect food for the table. Our mission is to encourage resource sustainability through habitat conservation and mindful harvest. We promote catch-and-release fishing but there is nothing wrong with putting a few “eater” fish in the live well.

Chris Larsen Pro Staff Member Foremost HuntingChris Larsen
Executive Producer/Host

Chris brings over ten years of television and radio experience to Foremost Outdoor Television. This includes work as sports anchor, advertising pitch-man, news producer, and documentary producer. The most enjoyable part of his television career was capturing hunting and fishing on video. This interest fueled his desire to create Foremost Outdoor Television.

Chris was introduced to hunting and fishing as a youngster but didn’t develop a real passion for the outdoors until after completing college. A good friend introduced him to duck hunting and an instant obsession developed. A retriever, several bags of decoys and other gear soon followed. In recent years, Chris expanded his hunting season to include deer, turkeys, and upland birds. He is known as a panfish specialist but with prime trout and walleye waters at his doorstep, his expertise has evolved.

“I am excited to showcase a variety of adventures on Foremost Outdoor Television. This show would not be possible without the talents and support of many talented people. A unique element of Foremost Outdoor Television is the teamwork involved. Viewers will get a wide range of perspectives from our incredible field staff.”

Jason Oswald Marketing DirectorJason Oswald
Marketing Director/Field Producer

Jason Oswald is thrilled to be a part of Foremost Outdoor TV. The challenge and adventure of a FOTV assignment allow him to experience people, places, game and fish that deepen his appreciation of the natural world. Sharing these experiences with a television audience in an ethically mindful way is our “foremost” challenge in advancing conservation and respect for resources, and he is proud to be a part of this team.

Jason began his outdoor life as a waterfowler in Northern Illinois in cold morning backwaters alongside his father. Natural curiosity and the lure of new destinations have expanded his experience into ruffed grouse coverts, whitetail deer woods and springtime turkey timber. Many of these adventures came to be through the generosity of family and friends willing to share these experiences, and he is careful to extend this tradition to others whenever possible.

Jason also enjoys fishing for panfish, walleye and musky on the water and through the ice. His conservation involvements include volunteer and fundrasing work for Ducks Unlimited and Pheasants Forever, as well as safety instruction with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. He is also a contributing outdoor writer for ForemostHunting.com.

Tyler has been enjoying the outdoors since he was a little kid. “I am extremely fortunate to have a family that loves to hunt and spend time together in the field. As a youngster my dad would hang double sets so I could go hunting with him.” Tyler killed his first buck at the age of 12 and has been hooked ever since.

Tyler has been an archery enthusiast since his dad put a bow in his hand at the age of 7. He worked as an archery tech, received a silver medal in the Badger State Games, and competes in various tournaments all year long.

Tyler also volunteers as a guide for disabled hunts in Wisconsin. “It’s great to be able to share the hunting experience with others.” He primarily hunts public tracts of land in Wisconsin and is excited to take Foremost Outdoors TV along on his journey. Tyler enjoys hunting turkeys, deer, elk, bear, small game, and waterfowl. He is also an avid trout and walleye angler.
