South Dakota Pheasant and Duck Hunts

Guest safety and quality hunting conducted at a professional level is the norm here at Dakota Expeditions, Inc. when hunting pheasant, upland game birds, ducks and geese. A thorough safety review is given to each guest prior to their hunt. Each guest is required to wear hunter orange and have safety glasses.

Dakota Expeditions does not mix different hunting parties into large group hunting parties. On occasion a party of one or two hunters will be asked to join another single or party of two to make up a four-person group, which is our preferred minimum party size. Groups of less than 4 may also request a private guide for an additional fee per day if they so desire. Large, known acquaintance groups can be hunted together or broke down into groups numbering 4, 5, 6, etc.

The first three weeks of September is an excellent weather period to book a combination bird hunt for partridge/pheasant with a day or two of spectacular small mouth bass and walleye fishing on our scenic and massive Missouri River Reservoir System. Local Largemouth Bass and Bluegill fishing can also be combined with September and early October bird hunts.
