Red Hills is open to the public for pheasant hunting from September 1 to March 31. * No license required for hunting released birds* We offer one of the most spectacular areas in the Western United States for pheasant hunting with 10,350 acres of natural fields. It is located on one of the oldest family owned ranches in Nevada. Red Hills accomodates hunters from all ages and skill levels. The pheasants are top quality flyers and chukars are also available. Duck hunting is also prevelent with the Walker River running through the ranch. Excellent professional guides with dogs are available to maximize your hunting experience. ACCOMMODATIONS are available at a discount through Red Hills at Topaz Lodge and Casino overlooking Topaz lake famous for it's trout fishing. Trout fishing is available at Red Hills Year round.

    When I lived in the area I was a regular at this preserve and also was a part time member of staff. I'm glad to see that it is up and operating again. Would like to get a brochure as getting pheasants here in Arizona is about as difficult as finding a cool day in July.
