The Upper San Pedro River, one of the last free-flowing rivers in Arizona, received additional protection last week as 122 acres just north of the United States/Mexico border were acquired by The Nature Conservancy and the Arizona Game and Fish Department with support from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
