Venison Hamburger soup is one of those things that tastes better the next day so make ahead. Serve with bread or corn bread. This also a family favorite. by Charlie Smith
Ingredients:
1 1/2 pound Venison Hamburger
1 teaspoon Beef Broth (add according to the amount of water added)
1/2 cup Chopped Onion
1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
4 medium cubed Potatoes
3 Celery stalks, sliced
Salt & Pepper to taste
1/4 cup Onion, chopped
6 medium Carrots, sliced
Water to desired consistancy
Preparation:
Brown Hamburger in a sauce pan. To make this soup thicker blend in a blender 1 celery stalk, 1 potato, 1 carrot and 1 cup water.
Cooking Instructions:
Place hamburger in a pot and add vegetables as well as the blended vegetables. Add broth until desired thickness. (Some people don't like brothy soup) bring to a boil. Salt and pepper after you taste the soup. The beef broth does add salt.
Redue heat and simmer for 2 hours. Add more water if some of the liquid evaporated out
