The state of Vermont has been blessed with an abundance of abandoned apple orchards and fields which provide excellent habitat for Vermont deer. Vermont is one of the best whitetail bow hunting states in the region. Vermont Bow Hunters harvest more deer in Vermont than in any other northern New England state.
