I have hunted turkey using a bow with some success over the years. There are several kill zones on a turkey with the best being a broadside shot right in the middle of the bird, or the neck area when the bird is facing you. Just try to avoid the tough breast bone and breast meat. You will want to use some sort of blind or natural set-up that will allow you to draw you bow and not get "busted." This is especially true when there are several turkey present. I have also shot a bird out of a tree stand during early deer season. - Archer |
