I think it would be ok.  Some hunters don't think the new compounds are very sporty, but if it gets more guys involved in the sport I'm all for it.

I think it is just another tool in the bow hunters arsenal. Cross bows don't have the range of a gun they are just a little easier to use the a compound bow. If it gets more hunters into the sport I am all for it. I think some purists would say that the compound bow should be outlawed. It really boils down to personal preference. I really admire the guys who hunt with a recurve bow. It makes a challenging sport even tougher. I believe it is all about personal choice.
