I just got through talking to a group of morners returning from the wake of a Duck Hunter. The father told me the simple details but did not have an answer. He asked me to give it to him. The two hunters were in the duck blind sitting down on stools. Pretty normal, they both knew their zones of fire and been hunting together for many years. The victim stood up to shoot while the other remained seated....shall I say more.

When duck hunting from a blind you both stand up to shoot and the muzzles remain at the same level. Please Pass it on.

Unfortunately, in the excitement of the "Moment", some protocol is eventually ignored

Rod, well said. Right or wrong it happens. We're human and accidents happen. I feel sorry for their loss.
