    i like 2 talk 2 someone who hunts turkey with a bow ive became disabled so i have 2 use a crossbow  what is a good broadhead 2 use & please any tips on hunting turkey with a bow & set ups 4 decoys or any thing that might help  this is my first time in 5 years 2 get out this spring 2 hunt & hunt turkey.           I THANK YOU ALL FOR ANY HELP

    I hunt them with both a crossbow and a recurve bow. Go check out the blog on my new turkey call. The blood runner would be a good crossbow broad head, I use Stingers on everything. We have a good crossbow section here, and a direct link to the North American Crossbow Federation.

    I LOVE to Bowhunt Gobblers and over the last 15 years it has become a passion.

    The most effective b-head I've used for Turkey is a large cutting diameter mech b-head. Penetration is NEVER an issue with birds and they seem to need to added "shock" of big mechs knocking them off their feet. Plus as everyone knows, you've really got to crush a bird to put 'em down quick so naturally a fist sized hole from a large mech works extremely well! LOL!

    My favs are the Rocket Hammerhead, Slammerhead and Turkey Tom-o-Hawk. I've also used mechs from NAP and Rage and had excellent results as well.
