It's prime time for bear baiting in Wisconsin.  Check in with Foremosthunting.com later today for a story on bear hunting and a sneak peak Foremost Outdoor TV video clip of an upcoming archery bear hunting show.  The black bear population in Wisconsin is exploding and hunting success rates are also on the rise.  Wisconsin bear hunters had a success rate of 59% in 2009.

Good video. You just don't see too many bear videos on the net. I guess that's just one of the reason's I like this site.

Awesome video. I'm planning on bowhunting for the first time this fall. I'll be hunting whitetails but we have a lot of turkeys in our area too. If a gobbler makes a mistake, I'll make him pay as well. I'm looking forward to the up close and personal aspect of bowhunting this fall. I saw a guy on TV shoot a squirrel with his bow yesterday. I don't see any reason why you couldn't shoot small game with a bow but I would think that it would pretty much end the hunt for you. Is a little squirrel meat worth spoiling the hunt?
