I've been out and about, but not doing so good on the counts. It's still nice to get out and forget about work for awhile.

Great! Let us know how you do. A picture or two wouldn't hurt either.

Boy, been dragging my tail arpound all week. The happy hunting grounds were were hunting on last week were lands belonging to one of the premere waterfowl clubs on the east coast....Del Mar Waterfowl Club. We were filming/hunting for an up coming TV show airing sometime in the near future on Delmarva waterfowlTV. A freelance snow geese was the target  but we just could not get on the X. While we saw planty of the highflyers,we only managed a few ducks

It was fun,and as usual...WE ATE GOOD

Overall pork, the ducks season, at least the first part was better than most, the last brought cold freezing weather and pushed most of our birds out.

The Late goose season has been a wash so far, we are now keeping snow on the ground here in central Va so we have not really been able to get on the geese. Hope to slip out tomorrow evening to hit a local field, it;'s melted just enough to let the geese use it again.... hope to hit it tomorrow, because Sat. we are supposed to get dumped on again

Decided to bare the elements today( sat.) . A friend and myself slipped out mid morning to a local farm ,set out a small spread of goose decoys and had one small flock work. We managed two out of the group and did not see anymore. We packed it in at 2 o'clock hoping to try again mid week. if we can get some of this white stuff to melt
