Does anyone Turkey hunt Tennessee or Kentucky that can give me some direction as to where to hunt public lands?
I'm a northern boy to, trapped in a southern state. No permit needed down here, we have plenty of birds here. I just don't know where to hunt them. I think that I will asked my neighbor for permission to hunt the land behind my house. -Archer
I would go nuts trying to win a tag. Every state that I lived in did not require a tag. My problem is that I just don't know where to hunt here in TN.
I'll try Craig's List for barter. I didn't have any luck looking for land to lease, so we'll try a different approach.
We have some really good Wildlife Management areas. Cherokee National Forest in East Tennessee is covered in turkeys. You can also check out Natchez Trace and Cheatham. These are public hunting land managed by TWRA. They are also covered in turkey. Hope this helps.
