Hog Shorts are a well known to farmers means of feeding pigs, also known as sloping the hogs. Yes it is a chopped corn mixture you can find in any feed store. Of course deer will eat it too. A more advanced deer bait would be roasted soybeans deer love that too..

It all works sometimes.

So is this a liquid that can be sprayed through say a garden sprayer onto dry vegetation etc? Do you mix the powdered milk up or is this more like a dry bait?

This is a dry bait, you mix in a bucket, however you can use the vanillia in a sprayer seperate.
